Kim Gottlieb-Walker’s incredibly varied photographic career has covered everything from classic rock and roll, reggae and politics in the 60’s and 70’s to working on major motion pictures and television shows. She was of the elected representatives for still photographers on the National Executive Board of IATSE Local 600, the International Cinematographers Guild for thirty years. She has had solo gallery shows in London, New York and Los Angeles
Kim’s coffee-table photo books "Bob Marley and the Golden Age of Reggae" and “On Set with John Carpenter” were published by Titan Books/Random House and have had multiple printings and foreign editions. She published her novel “Lenswoman in Love” (her early career in the 1960s and ‘70s reimagined as a romance) on Feb 24, 2025 and it won three silver medals at the 2025 Bookfest (Women’s Fiction, Romance -19th Century, and Historical Fiction). “Caterina by Moonlight” (a romantic historical set in Florence in the late 15th century) is not yet published. Her short story “Summer of Love” was recently published in the multi-award-winning historical fiction anthology “Feisty Deeds.”
